Information about the house:
Built in 1948 by Nathaniel Curtis (Superdome). Architect John Watermark designed the addition.
Original house was a 2BR/1 Bath Home. In the early 1960's, a second house, connecting hallway, covered porch and pool was built. The Main house currently has 1 BR, Sun porch, Office/2 nd bedroom, 1 ½ baths, kitchen, dining room and den. Back house has 2 BR, 2 Full Bath, laundry room and large den. Out of the back door is a 15x30 covered porch next to the pool. Sellers purchased in 2006 and began a renovation, which was completed in late 2007. This was a full renovation to the studs including replacement of all electric, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, sheetrock, etc as detailed below.

    • Original insulation was about 2" thick. Removed and installed R28 in Ceiling and 6" batts in all walls, both exterior and interior for sound insulation.
  • Expanded and Renovated Master Bath
    • All new studs out renovation and expansion of master bath including a full wall of glass tile, soaking tub, walk in shower, travertine floors and counter. All Kohler fixtures.
  • Addition to Kitchen with Eat In Dinette
    • Added a 10x17' addition to the original kitchen.
    • Added an eat in dinette in the kitchen.
    • Large center island.
    • New cabinets.
    • Granite throughout.
  • Addition of ½ Bath
    • Added a ½ bath near the kitchen.

    • Replaced existing roof with a silicone rubber roof.
