WHO AM I?

Let me introduce myself....I am Jean Begovich (my friends and family call me "Jeannie").  I grew up on a ranch in Kenner, Louisiana when Kenner was "country."  I was the daughter of a poor farmer/rancher; one of three girls.  I have always loved the "country" feel, and that is why I live and love St. Tammany Parish.

I am often described as a happy and always smiling person; someone who looks at everything through "rose colored glases", and have always been accused of being an "Annie."  That is why I chose the slogan (by unknown author), "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; it's about learning to dance in the rain." 

And that is exactly what I am doing....by reentering the real estate profession at a time when others were getting out (due to the down market in 2009).  Well, here I am working Full-Time as a REALTOR and loving it!

I am a skilled and dedicated full-time Professional REALTOR with 25+ years of work experience with an extensive background in real estate services -- which includes active involvement in property management, worked as a real estate assistant for over 8 years and held the position of Real Estate Services Manager for the entire southern region of the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company (composed of over 200 stores).
