We want to make this as easy as possible for you by providing powerful, easy-to-use search tools that let you search the entire MLS to find the properties that fit your needs. The section below details how to use these tools to make searching for your next property quick and easy. If you have additional questions or comments, don’t hesitate to contact us. Contents Getting Started Quick Search Advanced Search Advanced Search Page Search Results Getting Started There are two different ways that you can search for properties - Quick Search and Advanced Search. | top Quick Search Quick Search Bar This is the fastest and simplest way to search. You can enter a limited set of criteria and then go directly to your search results. You can use the quick search form anywhere on the site by going to the quick search bar at the top of your screen (fig. 1a). Select Search Listings, then enter your criteria and click Go. You can search using any of the following criteria: MLS # Street Subdivision Zip Code City Figure 1a: Quick Search Bar | top Enhanced Quick Search Box From the homepage, you can also use the Enhanced Quick Search Box(fig. 1b) to quickly search for properties. Select your search criteria, then click Search. Figure 1b: Enhanced Quick Search | top Advanced Search This lets you specify many criteria, allowing you to return a highly specific set of results. You can get to the advanced search section three ways. You can: Click on right side of the header. Leave the Quick Search field blank and click the Go button. (fig. 1a) Click Search Local Listings or a region on the search map (fig. 2a) on the site's home page. Figure 2a: Search Map | top Advanced Search Page After selecting to do an advanced search, you will see this page. It is divided into three sections: Location Property Details Other Search Options You can enter your criteria into any or all of these sections to return the properties that fit your needs. Be aware that if you choose to search using the Other Search Options area, all criteria from all other sections will be ignored. Once you have entered all of your criteria, click the Search to display the results. | top Location Use this section to specify your desired region, parish/county, subdivision, and city/area. You can use this section in conjunction with the Property Details section to further focus your search criteria. Figure 3a: Location Section | top Property Details Use this section to enter the details of the properties that interest you. You can use this section in conjunction with the Location section to further focus your search criteria. Figure 3b: Property Details Section | top Other Search Options Use this section if you already know the MLS #, zip code, or street of the listing(s) that interest you. Using this section to search will ignore any criteria that is not in this section. Figure 3c: Other Search Options Section | top Search Results The search results page offers a robust set of features to make viewing and managing your search results easy. These include the following: Sort results Navigate through your results Change results displayed per page Print results Manage search results Save individual listings Save entire search Edit saved search | top Sort Results To change the sorting of your results, select the item you would like to order by from the Select Sort dropdown box. Figure 4a: Sort your results | top Navigate Through Your Results Your search results are displayed in sections, with a certain number of results per page (see Change Results Displayed Per Page). To move to the next page, click the Next x link (fig. 4b) at the top or bottom of the results page. To jump to a particular page, select the page number from the pages drop down box (fig.4b). Figure 4b: Results Navigation | top Change Results Displayed Per Page You can select the number of listings that appears on each results page. If you do not have a broadband connection, then you should use the default number of ten results per page to prevent slow page loads. Figure 4c: Change the number of results per page Print Search Results to print your search results, click the Printable Version (fig. 4d) link at the top right of the results page. This will load a printer-friendly version of your results. Figure 4d: Print your results | top Manage Search Results You can save individual listings, or even your entire search to view at a later time. You can also edit saved searches if your critera change. You can do all of this using the Search Management Buttons (fig. 4e)at the top of the results page. Figure 4e: Save and manage your searches | top Save Individual Listings To save selected listings, check the checkbox(es) next to the listing(s) that you want to save (fig. 4f), then click Save Selected from the Search Management Buttons (fig. 4e) at the top of your results. Figure 4f: Selecting a listing | top Save Entire Search To save your search, click the Save Search button from the Search Management Buttons (fig. 4e) at the top of your results. This will bring you to the search save form (fig 4g: Save Search Form) Figure 4f: Save search form | top Edit Saved Search To edit a saved, click the Edit Saved Searches button from the Search Management Buttons (fig. 4e) at the top of your results. This will take you to the search management page where you can select any of your saved searches to edit. | top	More Help? Customer Service
